Tignes France

As one of the highest resorts in the European alps with a top lift that reaches 3456m, Tignes is the perfect destination for preseason shredding. A famous freeride mecca, December often produces epic conditions and with plenty of easily accessible freeride terrain can produce one of the best weeks of the year.

Course
Our Winter Kick Off course is about all terrain shredding. With plenty of work on the snowboarding fundamentals of slashing, carving and skidding . This course is designed to improve your all round board control and technique through the fine art of dossing around on a snowboard. Oh and we might even fit in a day of splitboarding for good measure.

Accommodation
The Dragonlodge is a snowboarder owned and run Chalet with the best shred vibes in the Alps. It's like a home from home with a big living and dining area downstairs where everyone congregates, breakfast is served and Dan conjures up his first class evening meals.

Considerations

Depending on conditions we'll be doing short hikes most days. Generally only 30-40 mins of boot packing. There will plenty of high speed, high energy shredding at a high altitude so bring plenty of energy.
