Lofoten Norway

The Lofoten Islands simply are one of the most beautiful places you'll ever visit.  Sticking out into the Norwegian Sea far above the Arctic Circle with majestic mountains, deep fjords and surf swept beaches this place is simply magical. We'll be staying just outside of the fishing town of Svolvaer in the middle of the Islands, in a traditional Norwegian fishermans huts with our own private beach and sauna. Giving us endless Splitboard options to the west and the east and the perfect location to recover after a hard days hiking.

Adventure
This week is all about getting away from the crowds and exploring the magical Lofoten Islands under our own steam. With longer days and warmer temperatures we've got plenty of day light to pick and choose the best conditions. From early starts to evening sunset descents.

Flying into Narvik we'll pick up a hire Van for the week and make the 3 hour drive south west to Svolvaer through some unforgettable scenery. With 5 days of pure splitboarding we'll try and take a rest day in the middle of the week to recover depending on the weather, go sight seeing and possibly go surfing. 

Accommodation
Accommodation is in traditional self catered Norwegian fishermans huts just outside Svolvaer with plenty of character, it's own sauna and private beach for post riding restorative dips and woodburners to keep it toasty. This is a real snowboard adventure and unlike other trips we'll all muck in with cooking, washing up and splitboard preparation and plenty of games of cards for chores. From previous experience, this creates an amazing group bond and an unforgettable experience.
